2025 16th Dongguan Taiwan Famous Products Expo: Strong Chain Integration, Intelligent Innovation for the Future
From September 11 to 14, 2025, the 16th Dongguan Taiwan Famous Products Expo (hereinafter referred to as "Dongguan Taiwan Expo") grandly opened at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center. This event, themed "Strong Chain Integration, Intelligent Innovation for the Future," not only continues the tradition of the Taiwan Expo as a "golden brand" for cross-strait economic and trade exchanges but also set a new record with an exhibition area of 33,000 square meters, 671 participating enterprises, and 1,881 booths, becoming a benchmark platform for promoting cross-strait integration development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Scale Upgrade: Global Taiwanese Business Community Joins the Grand Event
This Taiwan Expo is jointly hosted by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government, the Dongguan Municipal People's Government, and the National Federation of Taiwan Compatriots Investment Enterprises. It attracted extensive participation from across the Taiwan Strait and Southeast Asia. Taiwanese businesses from all 22 counties and cities in Taiwan, as well as groups from Hong Kong, Macau Special Administrative Regions, and 25 provinces (cities) including Jiangxi, Jiangsu, and Hunan, participated. Taiwanese enterprises from 32 towns and streets in Dongguan also appeared collectively, showcasing innovative achievements in fields such as 3C electronics and mechanical equipment.
Industry Focus: Electronics and Semiconductors Leading Innovation
Closely following the requirements of the "Dongguan Deepening Cross-Strait Innovation Development Cooperation Overall Plan," this Taiwan Expo deeply focused on the electronics and semiconductor industry chain. In the Artificial Intelligence Pavilion, three AI servers exhibited by Inventec Group, with their high-performance computing capabilities, became the focal point for negotiations between tech giants and cloud computing companies; Hongkai Electronics Technology from Huangjiang Town launched an aluminum brushed panel 1U server, attracting bulk orders from Southeast Asian buyers with its "small space, large capacity" feature.
In the field of equipment manufacturing, Fuqiangxin Machinery secured on-site deals exceeding ten million yuan. Its fifth-generation intelligent injection molding machine optimizes production efficiency through AI algorithms, improving by 40% compared to traditional equipment; the five-axis linkage machining center exhibited by Taichung Precision Machinery conquered precision manufacturing buyers with 0.001-millimeter-level accuracy. The biopharmaceutical zone was also full of highlights, with Dongguan Guoyu Electronics' medical-grade current protector and portable diagnostic equipment jointly developed with Taixin Hospital, showcasing cross-strait technological collaboration in the health industry.
Notably, during the "Industry Cooperation Strategic Signing Ceremony" held at the exhibition, the Dongguan Taiwanese Business Investment Enterprises Association signed agreements with the Taiwan Generator Industry Association and the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce in Chennai, India, among others, to jointly build a Southeast Asian Taiwanese Business Industrial Park in Dongguan. The first phase plans an area of 85,000 square meters and is expected to introduce 30 cross-border enterprises. This "Expo + Park + Industry" linkage model is driving Taiwanese businesses to transform from single-point participation to cluster development.
Future Outlook: Building a Common Market Across the Taiwan Strait
After 16 years of development, the Dongguan Taiwan Expo has evolved from a single product exhibition and sales platform into a comprehensive ecological system encompassing industrial docking, technological innovation, and cultural exchange. At this exhibition, the debut of the "Five Major Cards of Dongguan-Taiwan Integration" — Taiwan Business Building, Dongguan-Taiwan High-tech Industrial Park, Taiwan Business Children’s School, Taixin Hospital, and the Taiwan Expo — systematically presented the deep integration of the two sides in industries, education, healthcare, and other fields.
